Substantiating Our Claims: Ecogreen EPDs

At TenCate Protective Fabrics, transparency is a necessary part of how we operate. As we engage with stakeholders across specifically our European value chain, we hear a consistent need for clear, verifiable data that supports sustainability-related claims. In response, in our European market, we have published Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for our Ecogreen product portfolio—an integral part of our industrial safety product portfolio—making this information accessible to partners and stakeholders through environdec.com.

For those seeking detailed data, our listings can be found by searching Tecapro® Ecogreen, Tecasafe® Ecogreen, and Tecawork™ Ecogreen within the environdec.com library.

Developing EPDs is part of a broader effort to better understand and communicate the environmental footprint of our protective fabrics. As we continue working toward expanding Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and EPD coverage across our full product range, we recognize that this is an ongoing process. Each step provides new insights that inform how we design, manufacture, and improve our products.

We understand that progress in this space requires collaboration. By sharing data, listening to stakeholder feedback, and continuing to refine our processes, we contribute to a broader effort across the textile and industrial safety industries. This collective approach helps address current challenges while also identifying opportunities for future innovation.
